Real time economy

The vision of the Real-Time Economy project for 2030 is to build a national digital ecosystem for business actors that would be compatible with similar systems in other Nordic countries. It would allow seamless, real-time and secure transmission of orders, e-invoices, digital receipts and business data between parties.

Building of the digital economy and its operating environment will continue after the project on the basis of the Real-Time Economy project. The project was launched in 2021 and it will last until the end of 2024. The project fulfills the goals of both Marin’s and Orpo’s government programs and is part of Finland’s sustainable growth program.

This website was intended as a source of information and a forum for cooperation during the Real-Time Economy project. The site will continue communicating  further development of real-time economy from 2025 onwards. The Finnish Patent and Registration Office will be responsible for the maintenance of the site. During the transition phase in early 2025, content will be edited and redesigned to meet the communication needs of the continuous development of the real-time economy.
